A few nerves, a mic and three minutes…

A few nerves, a mic and three minutes to talk about what Carron Connected is all about.

TLICN was the first network I joined when I started Carron Connected, and I’ve always found it to be a genuinely supportive community.

So, it was good to get the opportunity to stand up and talk about how I help businesses Search, Attract and Retain the people they need to grow.

The feedback afterwards? “Good job, Richard. Straight and to the point.” I’ll take that.
After more than 20 years around the built environment, I’ve learned that’s generally how people in the industry like things.
Clear, practical, and not too much waffle. Not a bad way to do business either.

If you get the opportunity to speak at an industry event this week, go for it. It’s good to step outside the comfort zone every now and again. Have a great week.
